Mary Ann Vetter, DMD

Mary Ann Vetter, DMDA Pacific Northwest native, Dr. MaryAnn Vetter earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Oregon Health Science University.  Offered an opportunity to maximize her educational and training opportunities, she completed a Residency in General Practice at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma. This program emphasized advanced dental care including multidisciplinary treatment, head and neck trauma, oral implantology, smile design, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.

Since 1997, Dr. Vetter has practiced at Vetter Dental, where her training, experience, and  passion have brought the highest quality dental health to residents of Olympia and the greater South Sound area.

The success of Vetter Dental is a result of a highly-trained professional team of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and office staff who collaborate to realize Dr. Vetter’s mission to mind the specific needs of every individual walking through the clinic doors.   This commitment shows in the kind, friendly, gentle, and flexible nature of every aspect of communication and patient care.

Dr. Vetter’s approach to delivering beautiful, healthy smiles was most recently recognized in 2013 when Vetter Dental was voted as Best Dental Practice by The Olympian’s Best of South Sound.  Even with awards,  Dr. Vetter continues to bring innovation to her patients with the latest technologies and the most current techniques.  She exceeds continuing education standards and has participated in Summit Study Club, Spears Institute of Education, and South Sound Study Club.  She is also an active member in Thurston County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, and American Dental Association.  This investment in education, technology, and pursuit of best practices results in efficient and comfortable treatment with longer lasting beautiful results for her patients.

And because not everyone has access to important dental and medical services, Dr. Vetter donates her time or resources to Smile Mobile, Union Gospel Mission, and OHSU Foundation.

Dr. Vetter and her husband, a graduate of The U.S. Naval Academy, have two wonderful daughters. Their family enjoys volleyball, biking, theater, reading, and cuddling with their dogs, Cleo and Bubbles.
